Hotspot School of English is part of our large Arriba! family. It is known as the most intensive language school in the Ukrainian market. Students can expect a significant workload, including numerous homework assignments, tests, exams, and the occasional expulsion, which are all integral parts of the Hotspot learning experience. One of the key teaching methodologies at the school is focused on language practice.
Unlike many other language schools that encourage speaking without much thought, Hotspot emphasizes the importance of skillful and conscious communication, which ultimately enhances the beauty of the language. The school's methodologists have developed various challenging and practical exercises and practices to help students master this skill. These activities are designed to be intense but yield positive results. We decided to take on a challenging task to showcase the school's commitment to serious learning and the effectiveness of its teaching methods. We recorded a segment of Eminem's most challenging track, "Godzilla," with our conversational practice teacher, Olya, in a single take, without any compromises or editing tricks. It was a demanding endeavor, but we were up for the challenge. Sounds exciting, doesn't it?


The video's visual concept involves portraying Hotspot's enemy - the entire market of outdated language schools. These schools make unrealistic promises to their students, offering fantasy language worlds and simple conversations instead of focusing on hard work and systematic skill refinement. As a result, students acquire distorted pronunciation instead of mastering the language effectively. Hotspot firmly believes that these schools are as outdated as boomboxes in a modern battle. It's a clash between systematic and diligent learning and the illusion they create. Round!
The teachers at Hotspot are truly remarkable individuals. They are known for their systematic approach, dedication, and friendly demeanor, setting them apart from other educators. Not only do they ensure the growth and progress of their students, but they also prioritize their continuous development, despite already being highly skilled professionals in the market. We want as many people as possible to become aware of this. However, we prefer to showcase it instead of simply talking about it. That's why Olya, along with Eminem and his song "Godzilla," helped us bring this message to life most captivatingly.
